Social responsible tourism

Social responsible tourism is a form of travel that takes into account the effects of the tourism industry on communities, the environment, and overall well-being. Efforts are made to ensure that the economic benefits of tourism are distributed fairly and that negative impacts are minimized while positive contributions to local communities, cultures, and the environment are maximized. A good example of this kind of tourism can be seen through our project partner YESD and their impact in Thôn Tha, a local community that has benefited from their socially responsible approach to tourism.
